Steve Hill acts as an independent Senior Adviser to PwC UK, and others, helping clients navigate geopolitical risks, national security, cyber challenges and build resilience.  Previously, Steve served as the Group CISO at Credit Suisse and deputy Group CISO at UBS.

His previous appointments at Credit Suisse included Global Head of Operational Resilience and Group Head of Technology, Cyber and Third Party Risk.  

Steve served at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for over three decades in a variety of National Security roles with a focus on transnational threats, with overseas postings in a range of regions. In 2017, he was Deputy Director in the National Security Secretariat of the UK Cabinet Office, with responsibility for aspects of cybersecurity policy.  

Steve is a senior visiting research fellow at King’s College, London, and a member of the Dell Technologies Global Security Advisory Board.
