Anja Wehler-Schöck is a member of the editorial board of the daily newspaper Der Tagesspiegel.
In 2022, she founded the new International Politics department at Der Tagesspiegel, which she headed until 2024. Prior to that, she was editor-in-chief of the IPG Journal, a discussion forum for international and European politics.
Before that, she worked as a social affairs officer at the German Embassy in Washington, DC and headed the office of the German Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Amman as country director for Jordan and Iraq.
