Anja Heßeler, graduate of the renowned Frankfurt School and Thunderbird School of Management in Phoenix, Arizona, began her career in the financial industry over 20 years ago at Dresdner Bank, later at Commerzbank. As a trained bank clerk with international experience, she has been shaping the development of Bethmann Bank in various positions in business and product development since 2011.

As Head of Asset Management since 2022 and concurrently as Head of Advisory Business on the product side since 2024, her focus lies on implementing specialized mandates, strategic decisions, compliance with regulatory requirements, and direct customer communication.
For many years, Heßeler has been actively involved as a diversity officer and advocates for the rejuvenation of the bank and the empowerment of women. As a member of the jury of the Citoyenne Foundation, she also supports projects that foster democracy.
