Nicola Beer speaks at Unternehmertag

The Vice-President of the European Investment Bank is coming to Tegernsee

We are honoured to welcome Nicola Beer, Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), at this year's Unternehmertag!

With an impressive career spanning European and German politics, she brings invaluable insights into economic policy, investment, and Europe’s strategic future.

Before joining the EIB, Nicola Beer was Vice President and Member of the European Parliament (2019–2023), focusing on economic, industry, and foreign affairs. She also served in the German Bundestag (2017–2019) and held key roles in Hesse’s state government, including as Minister for Education and State Secretary for European Affairs. Her career began in Frankfurt am Main—both in politics and as a self-employed lawyer.

At Unternehmertag, she will join the high-profile panel "Europe’s Future: Autonomous or Isolated?", moderated by Dr Asle Toje, Deputy Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Expect a thought-provoking discussion on Europe’s resilience, economic sovereignty, and place in a shifting global order.
