AMES is committed to the survival of endangered species in Africa
As every year, Unternehmertag is proud to support a non-profit organisation dedicated to an important cause. This time, we are partnering with the AMES Foundation, founded in 2020 by entrepreneur Dr Marlon Braumann.
AMES stands for "Africa’s Most Endangered Species" – its mission is to protect endangered wildlife and make Africa a safer place for its animals. What started as a small group of Africa enthusiasts has now grown into a global community of like-minded individuals. AMES takes an entrepreneurial approach, using strategic initiatives on the ground to drive real impact.
Dr Marlon Braumann, Founder of AMES Foundation:
"We are delighted that AMES has been chosen as this year’s charity partner of Unternehmertag. Security and resilience are only possible with an intact natural world. Without functioning ecosystems, there is no stable future for markets and societies. Conservation must not rely on donations alone – it needs entrepreneurial solutions and financial sustainability.
Unternehmertag brings together thought leaders, decision-makers and visionaries – people who understand that business leadership comes with responsibility for our planet. We look forward to engaging discussions, fresh impulses, and showcasing how true resilience is only possible with a thriving natural environment."
